Start and end a shift session
A shift session is an optional, consent-based way to track work time. The worker starts it themselves, sees a visible banner the whole time, and can end it whenever they want. It is never 24/7 tracking.
Steps
- 1In the worker app, the worker chooses to start a shift.
- 2A visible banner shows the shift is active.
- 3Location is captured only while the shift is on, tied to work.
- 4The worker ends the shift at any time, and tracking stops.

Is a shift session required?
No. Shift sessions are optional and started by the worker. You can run Skuadra using only job check-ins if you prefer.
