Record payments and partial payments
In short
You can record one or more payments against an invoice, including partial payments (abonos). Skuadra tracks how much is paid and the balance due, and marks the invoice paid automatically once the balance reaches zero. Each payment has a downloadable receipt.
Steps
- 1Open the sent invoice and choose Record payment.
- 2Enter the amount, the method (cash, transfer, card, other) and an optional note.
- 3Save it; the amount paid and balance due update on the invoice.
- 4Repeat for each installment; the invoice marks itself paid when the balance is covered.
- 5Download a receipt for any recorded payment.
Frequently asked questions
Can I take a payment in installments?
Yes. Record each abono as it comes in. Skuadra keeps a running balance and only marks the invoice paid when the full amount is covered.
Does a reminder re-charge the amount already paid?
No. Overdue reminders use the remaining balance, so partial payments are never collected twice.
